BIOGRAPHY

Rozalia Kierc

I met Rozalia in 2008 at the Wroclaw Academy of Music at a symposium dedicated to Tadeusz Natanson. A monographic concert was held, during which she - as the youngest performer - presented Natanson's "Lusatian Melodies". I was impressed by the phenomenal playing of a nine-year-old with very small hands. It was the first of my remarkable encounters with the music she creates and I have since followed her development. (...) Rozalia has reached an astounding level of maturity very early. She is an appreciated young artist who conquers the stage and knows what she wants from life - her purpose is to dedicate her talent to creating beautiful art.

Rozalia, to me, you are nothing but the music. Every single one of your gestures, of your movements, was incredibly connected to what your tiny fingers were producing. You are very sensitive and I am bewitched by your musicality.

Katarzyna Budnik-Gałązka
Young Musician of the Year 2016 judge

Rozalia is an outstanding pianist, who despite her young age distinguishes herself with her excellent connection with the audience, extraordinary musical sensitivity and excellent interpretative abilities. What deserves a special mention is her complete professionalism with which she works and lack of stage fright. She is an extremely promising artist, despite already being a very polished musician and performer.

General Director and Chief Conductor of the Orchestra of the Royal Capital City of Cracow Sinfonietta Cracovia

[…] It was the adorable, petite and natural ten-year-old from Wroclaw, a student of the Bacewicz School Rozalia Kierc, who made the best impression. Rememeber this name well. After all, if someone after just three years of study can (with such agility, musicality and understanding of musical phrasing) perform Mozart's Rondo for Piano and Orchestra in A major that poses a challenge even for mature pianists, it is scary to think how this extraordinary talent will develop in the future. […] She is a real diamond!
